About
Rendezvous is a ministry to encourage Pastors and Churches. We want to be there; to listen, to support, to help and encourage.
We are about meeting and connecting, we believe in building relationships. In most of our interactions we receive more than we give, if you feel we can support you and or your church please get in touch.
We are told that 1 in 3 pastors are at risk of burnout, and 75% of pastors know at least one fellow pastor whose ministry ended due to stress. Ultimately, we want to stand alongside leaders and pastors.
If you're feeling the heavy weight of apprehension and anxiety during this time, you're not alone. Now more than ever, we believe it's important for us, as pastors and leaders, to lean-in and connect with others. 'Rendezvous' can help you to lead church well, minister to others from a place of empathy and understanding, and make wise decisions in the face of uncertainty.
To help you do just that, we would love to meet and encourage you to navigate unexpected times, create new rhythms of rest, and refocus your mind and heart back on God. It may be a personal challenge, a leadership crisis or a ministry road block. We would love to offer our help and support. We have an array of trusted associates with experience and expertise who can help you to achieve your desired outcomes.
Commendations
I’ve known Nigel for forty years and can think of no one better and more experienced, with the spirit of entrepreneurship and servanthood to assist a new generation of leaders to best fulfil their God-given vocation in local, regional and national church ministry.'
Lyndon Bowring,
Executive Chair Care
I have known Nigel for the last 37 years. For a season when we were both in Scarborough together, he was my Pastor. We have remained friends and more recently have worked together in organising and co-hosting the United Chaplains Conferences. I have always found Nigel to be someone who encourages and supports others.
This ministry of ‘Rendezvous’ will be a good connecting point for Nigel to assist pastors and churches. His ability to share from his own experiences will be helpful for leaders who are going through difficult times and to help then to set a focus and plan for growth.

National Chaplaincy Representative, AOG.
Bio

In the early 1980's Rev John Hamilton walked into my church. I was in my mid-twenties and leading a small church in Scarborough, John was an experienced church of Scotland minister with a growing international ministry.
John became my Spiritual friend and Father, I have no doubt God provided John to help and guide me through those formative years, without him, I'm not sure I would have made it.
It was in those early days a desire was birthed in my heart to do everything I could to love and support Pastors and leaders. I know that Church leadership, while immensely gratifying and fulfilling, can also be filled with discouragement and frustration.
Many pastors feel isolated in their positions and unsure of where to turn for help and encouragement.
Support
We understand everyone circumstances are unique. Some clients will find their objectives met within two months, whilst others would prefer two years of occasional coaching sessions.
Again, on occasions we will be working with individual minister’s and then other times, with whole teams. Because of this, we will provide initial consultations and then create bespoke plans that work for all involved. Where it is not possible to meet in person, we can meet via zoom.
In addition, we arrange day conferences and weekend retreats that focus on all aspects of Christian leadership, and employ the services of respected leaders and practitioners in their specialist disciplines.
Rendezvous offers support: on an expense only basis or at an affordable daily rate.
